JA: Do you have any pets?
Me: Yes, I have two cats but they don't live with me, they live at my mom's house and I don't live with my mom.
JA: Dogs?
Me: No, I don't really like dogs.
JA: So it's just you?
Me: Yup, just me.
JA: Do you have a husband?
Me: No, no husband.
JA: (pause) Hmm...that's surprising.
